Jesus is not our tax collector

The Mighty Mite

Jesus didn’t teach on tithing per-say, He taught on the widows mite by example.

He didn’t teach on the Law of giving, he taught on the Grace of giving.

He didn’t teach Prosperity Giving, He taught Prosperity Living.

We prosper as our soul prospers.

Our reward is laid up not in our short term, but in the eternal.

We Give from our lack or need.

He is not a tax collector

Don’t Cancel Your Eternal Reservation

Church! Don’t be as the World’s Cancel Culture. Live the real deal found in the Gospel, stop being a stage actor.

Let your words be the red letter addition. Not the $green$ letter addition of Hypocrites.

Be prophets of grace,

When ever you give; forgive,

Then your gifts will be counted in heaven.

The sin of mankind’s fall; fell on the cross,

The aught of man against man rest’s on man, and your eternal reward in heaven.

After all, not everyone that calls me Lord is my messenger.

Thus Say’s, Your Word in Red

Gender Identity?

In the Old Testament “ben” mean’s offspring, in the New and Old Testament “men” means mankind.

A woman is a mankind with a womb.

There is a male child and a female child.

There is a husband and a wife.

The bible only depicts genitalia of gender as from the loins as male, and from the womb for a female.

Offspring is life from the fruit of the womb that encompasses a seed.

Just because someone has a womb doesn’t make them more of a man than the other, just because other has testis doesn’t make them more of a man than the someone.

Being a woman doesn’t make one more of a man and being a man doesn’t make one more of one than the other.

Hope this places our things in perspective.

Yes, I’ll probably loose folks over this one as well.

Church! Did Inspiration fly out the window?

Where did the Prophets go?

Ephesians 4:11 – 13

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

1 Corinthians 12:27 – 30;

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
— Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

In all my many years of church I have seen much coming and going, for various reasons. I mostly felt comfortable to stand on the sidelines in the body, observing and praying. I’m not much of a joiner when it comes to groups. That’s not on purpose but by Devine design.

When I do get thrown into something it was more out of certain individuals guilting me that I should be taking more of a part in leadership activities.

When I try, I feel like an alien, out of place, or a cog wheel that is miss aligned, trying to fit in to a system that is not familiar to myself or others.

Maybe my part was the immune system, not easily noticed but an affective part of defense against spiritual infection.

When there is an opportunistic entity, it comes subtly and with out warning to the rest of the body at first.

Prophetic prayer is the first line of defense.

I’m not a joiner nor am I a quitter. When I do, It’s something that I know that the Lord wants and prepared me for. If I do leave it’s usually out of oppression by personalities in the congregation. Not nessisarily by the leadership.

Just because someone spends time in prayer with the Lord and the Lord speaks to them doesn’t mean they need to join or lead a prayer group.

Just because the Spirit of the Lord Speaks to them doesn’t always make a prophet to be put on stage to speak and be a revelator.

I’m most comfortable when I know I’m where God wants me. When He has placed me out of my box or shell he has repaired me with something to present, He will on the most part provide confirmation.

When the Spirit of the Lord presents something that did’t make sense. Even the messenger wants to make sense of something the Lord said to them and try to figure it out. And later down the road it wasn’t what they thought. That’s why the Lord will revelate mystery’s. We thank Him for the Word and glorify him when the word unfolds.

Which brings me to the theme of this blog:

Where are the Prophets

Not conspirators but inspirator’s

Not too long ago, I watched a minister on YouTube ragged on Prophets in the body of Christ. In knowing some of their past experiences with them, I knew the source of the message was coming from some past prophetic baggage. I know, because I’ve had to deal with some of the same individuals and some of the same baggage. I’ve started receiving clues about their message on FB. And the first thing I thought, this was prophetic baggage, and reacted to a brothers post, then I watch the message. The pastor was correct on the most part but you don’t throw out the baby with the prophetic bath water.

In my understanding of their message, they believe that they, the Prophets no longer have a place in the body of Christ. That the prophets went out with John the Baptist.

This ministers message was a result of much prophetic contentions and seemed misdirections in the church world in our recent times. The end result, when the smoke cleared, it seemed the prophetic world got slapped in the face, or did they? During this time I stood back and observed the prophetic trends. They also blamed certain groups of people for the woes of our church and country. Or could they have misread the signs what God was doing in the church, country and in the world. I know, I did. However the Lord already prepared me for this before hand. We had one idea in mind, but the Lord has another.

Even Daniel and John didn’t fully know what God had in mind for the future.

God does have an endgame and we’re in it!

And my thought on this matter has to do with the two passages at the beginning.

If the prophets are not there (or shouldn’t be), then what happened to or with the teachers and pastors.

Then where are the Apostles and Prophets.

The head of the Church should be Jesus Christ, then the Apostles, Prophets, then evangelists, then pastors and teachers. Then the Spiritual Gifts and the gifts of helps.

For what reason? Perfecting the saints and the building of the Body of Christ. We are the only Jesus our eyes will see in our life time.

File a missing persons report with Jesus if they are not there.

I have seen pastors in the past attack their apostles. I have seen prophets attack their pastors and the other way around.

I have seen individuals take members and go out and start their own following when it should be a gathering.

Feelings got hurt by both party’s and ministries went their separate ways. It was more about control, pride and manipulation over the people, and not maturity.

I have seen many future pastors that weren’t sent out but stormed out to start something new.

God can use that. Barnabas and Paul did part their ways with such differences. One wanted someone on their team and the other didn’t get the job. Bye, in the Lord’s name.

Yes, the Lord can use that. After all Peter wanted to set up a colony of Believers and form a government per say and the Lord had something else in mind and sent them on their way because of persecution, He wouldn’t have gotten His endgame on if he didn’t. The Holy Roman Empire & Islam was born out of much of the same contention among the people and wanted control because they thought they had the right thing going on and formed governments.

Are the offerings down, are the numbers down, is the help from the body few and far between.

Are feel good sermons tickling emotions with holy ghost chills running down the spines? Are pastors obsessive compulsive with the leaders and congregation?

I have seen where the prophetic gift to the body was eliminated or squelched, the whole house of cards started to fall.

I have seen not only spiritual growth in faith and giving come to an end when a prophetic voice came to a close. I have also seen the Holy Spirit of inspiration fly out the window because someone stepped in and complained, because they felt offended or this didn’t go by the way of their style of belief.

I have also seen a prophet and leader of a ministry all of a sudden be taken home to be with his Savior. I saw the house collapse to the foundation. The prophetic voice was gone, I saw some individuals go and new ones come. The cash flow came to trickle. Those closest to him remained faithful and built something new to keep the vision alive. I’m only bringing this up because the Prophetic inspiration plays a important part in keeping the blessings flowing.

Who’s at fault? Jesus? or the ministers. Could be both.

Did the Holy Spirit quit his day job?

Would the Lord remove the part of the body that speaks and confirms the will of God.

Edifying the Body isn’t personal gratification for personalities.

Would our Lord toss aside one of his organs or appendages? That would have mad His mission a lame duck.

Don’t toss aside but impart, and be impartial and not partial.

Take Jesus’s example, He encompassed them all by example, He imparted a them all to disciple his disciples.

It’s not in part but in whole.

Maybe there is a part of the body that is weak, pray to strengthen that part, bring complete healing or a transplant. Have a new to you heart transplant. That is an option.

Be transparent in the Holy Spirit Anointing and the Gifts of the of the Body of Christ.

If the gifts are not there, then where did we misplace them.

Don’t make it more about the personality than The Person.

Then it comes down to the inspiration of God’s word and gifts of the Holy Spirit to build and strengthen faith in Jesus Christ,

Does it seem like the Head is missing?

Prophets or Diviner’s?

The Prophets of Facade

Get an Attitude, the Beatitude of Gratitude

When thinking where I was going to go with the outline on this topic, I was impressed to read passages in question and follow the context of what Jesus was referencing.

Yes, Jesus has a love hate relationship with the prophets. He’s had a few good ones that will listen and be obedient. However there were many that were lead astray.

After going over the context of the passages in question. I started to notice a pattern. I love patterns in God’s messages. They are easily overlooked and conclusions can be misdirected.

So who was Jesus referencing about these menacing pests called false prophets?

Come to find out it’s not exactly what we have thought.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:15 & 16

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:10,11

I went over Matthew 24:10 & 11 in my Desolations and Defilements & Denying the Son of the Father Posts

In Luke chapter 5 & 6 is a parallel to Matthew 6 & 7. The Authors had a different take on the message that Jesus was presenting, with some important differences.

In understanding the why of the message, we have to stand in his shoes at that particular moment in time and observe among those in the crowd who were surrounding and listening to Him and the few confronting Him. Not only were the disciples present and the many that were listening in awe, the religious cast representatives were there also. This is very evident in Luke chapter 5. The religious order wanted to address a presumed blasphemy and why his disciples didn’t live up to the religious codes that were handed down.

And Jesus being one that sees through and into the motives of the heart. He was addressing some a false facades of the religious scholars and puritans.

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Luke 5:21&22

Have we ever been confronted by religious fanatics? Count yourself blessed, and walk away.

The Prophets of Facade

First, what is a “facade”? It’s a fake front to make a front of a building, an entrance or a display more pleasing among the people. It has no other use than just that. Not very functional but pretty.

Jesus being a carpenter, would appreciate this analogy.

To build such a presentation, what are some of the materials and designs would a religious front make?

I have known many well intended ministers that appearance was a distraction, they are taken away by, and was blinded by what pleases the eye.

I have seen many so called ministers or prophets with the gift of prophecy pick the most strapping lads and the pretty lassis to bestow a morsel of the prophetic word unto.

I have seen lay people dazzled by the same appearances of the aesthetically pleasing and naturally gifted, in keeping up with the appearances, if you had a great voice in worship service, then those would gravitate towards the gifted, but not necessarily the spiritually gifted or mature.

As for my experience with prophets I had a couple of them in my life.

As a young child, I was at my father’s company picknick, I was standing in the crowed with my brother and some friends. A man came out of the blue and told me, and not necessarily those who I was with, “if I wanted that bike that was being raffled off then pray for it”. The man left as quickly as he arrived. I prayed, I won the bicycle. For a young lad that definetly made a strong kingdom impression on me. From that point on I was God conscious.

Another experience I had, again one that was out of the blue, was after a church service, a man came up to me that I didn’t know and asked a friend of mine to stand next to me to witness what was being said. First the messenger was well known in the congregation as a prophet. He wasn’t in regular attendance in the fellowship but a visiter and the members knew him. He started to confirm to me a word the Lord spoke to me earlier in the week, which got my attention, I wanted confirmation. He did confirm word for word what the Lord spoke to me that week, however there was more of the word I wasn’t entirely happy to hear and questioned it in my mind. That which I questioned came to pass in part, but what I wanted to hear hasn’t came to pass that I know of. Still on the shelf.

So were these the ones that Jesus warned us about?

We will find out.

Now lets unmask some of these false assumptions.

False fruit

In breaking the bread of scripture I’m going to focus on Matthew chapters 6 & 7.

After ministering to the crowd, Jesus was instructing his disciples on a mountainside among the crowd concerning those certain few which they had an experience with earlier on. On this day he will be passive aggressive, if those certain religious casts were eavesdropping. He had a special name for them.

I would like to start off with my own parable. When I was discovering my gift the Lord brought to my mind a pear tree we had growing up. One year the tree was loaded and over weighted by the fruit, the limbs were breaking off. All the fruit was waisted because no one will picked from it. The pears tasted like waxed fruit. Hardly any taste. Everything else was left alone and rotted on the branch. The next year there was hardly anything on the tree and following that.

This was a excellent metaphor for fake fruit or fruit with no sweet taste. It was just left on the branches and rotted. I have seen some really amazing realistic wax fruit props out there. They were just a presentation, not the real thing. Why was none taking from the branch of fruitfulness, why is our fruit rotting on the branch because none will pick from it? Most are discerning of what’s real and not. Some can smell the sweetness in the air when the fruit is in fullness and partake, if there is no sweetness, we can bare as much fruit as we like, if its not the real thing, it will sit there and eventually rot.

In the full context of the passages in Matthew, Jesus starts with the beatitudes, then going into the sermon on the mount following, with much contrast on good and evil nature. Read chapter 5 through 7 for the full flavor. Also notice that when He digs a hole, he makes a means of an escape.

I’m going to focus on chapters 6 & 7 because there is a reference to a word that keep popping up and it concludes to the final point that he was making.

Real Fruit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22 & 23

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is present in all believers. This is a promise of the Father and gifted to us as believers though the Son.

Whether the fruit can be observed or tasted in all seasons of life or beyond the thorns and thistles of the flesh, depends on the scaping of the heart. We are spiritual beings wrapped in flesh, we’re not walking talking spiritual robots, however our data need’s to come from a secure non corrupt source. Garbage in garbage out, good fruit in fruit out.

It’s okay not to feel fruity all the time, love is not a feeling, joy is not a feeling, faith isn’t a feeling and so on, this can seem more out of our duty as believers.

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit is a healthy byproduct of our persuasion in Jesus Christ.

This is Agape Love not sloppy sappy feel good about our selves love.

To get a good contrast on anti-fruit, read the surrounding scriptures. And dive into the literal greek translation for the full affect.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 8:1-3

This makes a distinction between the Law of the Flesh, and the Law of the Spirit. As a believer in Jesus Christ we are bound under a different covenant than the old covenant, the old way just gives us a road map that points to the new Way and to keep us on course to the new destination. Let’s get off at this destination point.

Because under the fall of mankind in Genesis our eyes were opened to a new world of flesh and shame and natural senses. Whenever God manifested himself in various ways, this was done only in a way that flesh could understand and perceive. Now our eyes are open to a more complete set of principles like in the beginning before things went south, now our faith is inward sourced through the Holy Spirit, unlike the law is outsourced. Understand?

Yes, I had to go here because some will confuse a fruitful life as works of the flesh and feelings.

The Facade of Giving

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6:1 – 4

Jesus talks about the non proper motive of giving gifts. Putting on a show how generous they claim to be. They make the announcements that they come to bestow their mercy on the needy. Jesus called them a very not nice word, “Hypocrites”, hence the religious few in the crowd. They will reap back what they put into. False rewards.

hupokrites (ὑποκριτής, 5273), corresponding to the above, primarily denotes “one who answers”; then, “a stage-actor”; it was a custom for Greek and Roman actors to speak in large masks with mechanical devices for augmenting the force of the voice; hence the word became used metaphorically of “a dissembler, a hypocrite.” It is found only in the Synoptists, and always used by the Lord, fifteen times in Matthew; elsewhere, Mark 7:6; Luke 6:42; 11:44 (in some mss.); 12:56; 13:15.

Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary

A hypocrite, one who acts pretentiously, a counterfeit, a man who assumes and speaks or acts under a feigned character.

The Facade of Prayer

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:5

In Matthew 6:5-15; Does God hear all prayers. He does when they are selfless, yes we can pray for our needs. Even though He knows them before we do, its always good to acknowledge that we’re only human or dust of the earth. Jesus gives us an example outline of how to pray, and it’s a perfect pattern to adapt to our prayer life. Prayer is also a part of our worship. Just because we are in prayer doesn’t mean we have to be in morning. Jesus also gave another example of selfless prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. Daniel by example demonstrates to us a selfless prayer in chapter 9. It doesn’t take any showmanship to be heard by God, just a humble and sensitive heart.

Verse 5 has that nasty word again, “Hypocrites”.

The Facade of Fasting

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:16

Matthew 6:16-18; Should we fast, only if we’re called to do so, or maybe for health reasons. The most I have ever fasted was three days, generally if I’m seeking God about something and not trying manipulate what I want from him. Jesus fasted 40 days, Daniel fasted 10 days. Wether it’s a complete fast or partial one this is something to take up with God and your healthcare professional. Do it without anyone having to know what your doing and don’t put on a show. Take care of your self. You can keep up with your appearance with out keeping up with appearances.

I have seen much manipulation of false tears in pentecostal surroundings. The calls were right on queue, the call to the facade repentance and tears. It was expected of us. If one didn’t heed the call then our faith was in question.

Notice that nasty word as again, “Hypocrites”. Oh no! Such a potty mouth.

The Facade of Possessions

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:19 – 21

Are we trying to keep up with the Jones’s? Will that new piece of tech make our life easier or happier. Will that new car make life easier or happier. Will the new house make us more important. Sure these things have their place of importance. But do they have you, are we obsessed with them. Is this a heart matter that takes more importance than those around us. Are we bowing down before them. Does wearing diamonds, rolexes, expensive suits make us more holy? I think we all know the answer. This is where the prosperity doctrine has failed us. Do new things make us happy and feel important, if so, then when the newness wears off, then we need another fix. This is addiction. We can’t take our earthly U-Haul with us in glory.

The Facade of Self Image

Obstruction of Vision

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Matthew 6:22 & 23

In understanding the insight of this passage we need to do a break down of the original translation meanings.

Light – a focal point of a light source, such as a candle.

Body – being many parts that makes up the whole.

Single – with out any obstructions of vision. Literally with out folds or eyelids. Keep eyes open, or eyes on the road. Or an healthy eye. No multitasking with our devotion to the Lord and the world.

Evil – Literally to be labored with discomfort. In context a foreign object that keeps the eye’s folds closed. Do we have something in our eye. We will find out more on this take later, he brings up another matter of an evil eye.

Thus this passage should be read and understood as:

The light source illuminates the whole body if the eyelids are open, and we see can where we’re going. If the eye is labored with discomfort and the eyelids or folds closes, then the whole body is affected by darkness.

We can’t see where were going? Or are we basically running blind.

Do we have something in our eye?

Are we being enticed by looking at others Facades? Do we try to look like the people we look up to, are we trying to look like the world and the falling stars that dazzle us. Our Celebrities are by greek definition a hypocrite. Read the definition that was given previously. They don’t always have our best interest at heart.

Are we a light in the world, or are we the star light of the world?

Which brings me to another passage:

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Matthew 5:29

I have always had difficulty understanding the literal interpretation of this verse or the one following. First of all it’s only the right eye or right arm, so is the offense of the eye, something that is in it that causes us to stumble? In context of the previous verse, could adulatory or lust be an object in the eye causing the rest of the body to loose sight or direction and stumble. Monkey see monkey do? Pluck out the object in the eye. Or walk away from it.

Just my own take on it.

So in our keeping up with the Jones’s, is this big distraction that make us stumble around in the dark, or coveting someone else’s property is blinding us from the light source? Are we blinded because we have our eyes close to the light of what is of true value?

In verses 24 – 34 of Matthew 6; depicts believers that serves two masters, one being the Lord and the other riches. We are not to worry or be anxious for where our next meal comes from, or where we are to lay our heads, and the clothe our backs. If the world by the most part knows how to treat their children, how much more the Father will treat his children with what is good for them.

The Facade of Self Righteousness

When we judge someone by a standard, we must judge ourselves by the same standard.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Matthew 7:1 & 2

Observe the bolded text in these two verses; Judge & Measure.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 6:37 & 38

Now look at the Bolded letters in the Luke passage. Is there a similarity noticed in Matthew?

Judge, condemn, give, forgive & measure.

Are we noticing any associated similarity’s in both passage references?

This is one of the synoptic parallels in the gospels between Matthew and Luke. These passages reads closely similar with some important differences.

How many times have we read Luke 6:38 as is. I have heard many prosperity doctrines out there on Giving to Get in good measure of return.

When we look at the context of this passage, this is referencing judging and forgiving.

Is the emphasis on Giving, or on ForGiving?

Now this is a new twist on the prosperity’s holy grail passage on giving, or the Prosperity Doctorate on Giving.

Now is monetary giving being referenced here? Not as I see it.

This passage is clearly talking about not judging others & forgiving others. God is forgiving us in this manor when we forgive: pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

Could using the words give and forgive, be Jesus’s play on words? To hit home where the greedy religious casts would understand. Showing the poverty point in mammon or wealth. Sounds like He is talking about a bankruptcy of the soul moment.

So is what Jesus’s referring? Is giving of our monetary gain for more gain principle, or is Jesus referring to our forgiving of others, will multiply our blessings of forgiveness from God and others.

I don’t see it any other way other than our gain is forgiveness and not monetary.

Maybe this is why one form of giving may impede the other form of forgiving. Just a side thought.

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee;

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Matthew 5:23 & 24

Our provisions and forgiveness go hand in hand:

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Matthew 6:11 & 12

Asking God for forgiveness doesn’t stand by it’s self, we must also do likewise. We don’t have to go to someone and say I forgive you when they have wronged us, if they have aught against us for something we knowingly done, then we aught to go to them. This is the same as having sin in our hearts, it must begin in the heart for our benefit, this may not affect them directly, but it does work on our heart scape for the release of Kingdom blessings. If someone comes to you and ask for forgiveness then we must release them from their guilt. I do believe in rebuilding that foundation of trust. Test the foundation as being trust worthy before you build something more on it.

Christ came to reconcile us through what he did on the cross, the result is a restored relationship between God and man. That is the only sin the cross covered. What we have lost because of the first Adam, we now have back with the second Adam.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 6:14 & 15

However, what about between man and man? Can Jesus forgive someone who has sinned against us directly and that is clears the road between us? Not if we hold bitterness in our hearts towards the other party or us knowing so in return. The context of these passages is to release our kingdom blessings here on earth, we are speaking about Kingdom Principles, are we not? Jesus begins and ends with his sermon on these grounds; Release of Blessings through Kingdom Principles.

This is an example of how taking understanding of a verse without the full context of scriptures, twists the meaning of what is being said in the message, in this case, that being of Jesus’s message.

Doesn’t this give us a whole new insight on prosperity giving, Oh I mean Prosperity Forgiving.

The Facade of Finger Pointing

The art of fault finding

Let me renovate you!

How many of us had someone try to fix us? Because you don’t live up to my standards, I thought I should make you more pleasing to me and the rest of the populous.

We are headed towards a betrayal on a bigger scale than the solution to a minor issue. They try to make a mountain out of your mole hill.

I ran into this from a so called prophetess. Which put my mind in a tail spin for months. She may have thought she had good intentions, however we don’t place a square peg in a round hole. A woman can’t fix or understand a man and the other way around.

Talk about having to deal with prophetic baggage. Don’t divulge anything that requires trust. They may use it to rend you in pieces. This is where I had to learn the art of forgiveness and information control.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Matthew 7:3 – 5

Did anyone noticed that Jesus used that bad word again in verse 5; Hypocrite? Must have been His favorite word of the day. Of course he was specifically addressing the few in the crowd.

Are they qualified to do a invasive surgery procedure to pluck out a splinter. First requirement would be that their eyesight should not be impaired as well.

Secondly, be mindful that we are all dust from the earth. With having that as a perspective places us with the correct motive of ministering to others. But holier than thou short sightedness doesn’t make one a candidate to help others out.

Remember earlier in these passages in question we were talking about a foreign object in our eye that needs to be corrected to see unobstructed and more clearly? I think Jesus is carrying over a previous thought.

Thirdly, make sure we’re not more visually impaired than those under our services, when we assist them in their weakness. We could end up making it worse.

Then your light will shine like the sunrise;

your restoration will quickly arrive;

your godly behavior will go before you,

and the LORD’s splendor will be your rear guard.

Then you will call out, and the LORD will respond;

you will cry out, and he will reply, ‘Here I am.’

You must remove the burdensome yoke from among you

and stop pointing fingers and speaking sinfully.

Isaiah 58: 8 & 9

If we aught to point the finger at someone to find fault and blame, then it must be to our own character. The context of the passage above talks about neglect of the needy, and taking care of your own. If we don’t point out others faults, then God doesn’t point out ours. Sounds like a fair assessment of faults.

Get the mote out!

The Facade of Worthiness

So were are we to throw our generosity, or our good intentions? To whom is our trust going to be placed?

In those who will squander it for personal gain or control? Or those who would show gratitude and good stewardship.

The proof is in the Putt’n.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Matthew 7:6

Watch who you throw your trust in, they must be trust worthy. If not, they will tear you to pieces.

Who has your best interests at heart?

Well it might not be the splinter plucker previously for mentioned, but someone who is trustworthy or worthy of your trust.

I have always use the motto, don’t place your trust in flesh, everything is subject to change with out a moments notice no matter how much good intentions are shown. Place our trust in something that is more eternal. The One who is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Again, can we find those here on earth with us that are worthy of trust? Tried and True. Taking the previous verse in context with the following verse:

The Gift of Receiving

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:7 & 8

What are we asking for?

Who are we to ask?

And what are we going to end up with?

In this passage it seems that Jesus came full circle from where he started; Giving, however this talks about proper motive of asking and receiving.

Is our giving under false pretense, give to get, or giving receiving?

Earlier we found that a byproduct of our giving wasn’t as what we thought, forgiveness.

Now do we always get what we ask for, be careful who we ask, we may get something unexpected.

If it is worldly you may get bit a snake, or a rock thrown at you.

If you want to know something, seek for it. This is knowing God’s will for the beginners 101.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

Are we looking for a new doors to open for us. We have to step up to the door first then knock. God wouldn’t open a door if he knows it is not in our best interests. Start all this by seeking His Kingdom interests.

A good motive for reciprocal giving

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:12

God know’s how to give for or own good. It will be for our eternal best interests in mind.

Give as God gives, receive as God receives from us.

God show’s gratitude to those who gives graciously in His name.

The Facade of Ease

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:13 & 14

The Narrow is the entrance and the path that He leads us on.

Are we heading down the primrose path with bi-directional side walks of ease with safety rails, or are we taking that narrow unkept hiking trail along a cliff with full grown tree tops peeking up at us from below, to get to that beautiful waterfall to behold and to take a rest from our journey. The Way is not alway’s going to be a easy hike. There maybe a few snakes and spiders, bees or scorpions, with rocks to get around and cliffs along the way.

Don’t Fear The Journey. Exercise more caution and care when getting around obstacles. And don’t turn around and go back to where you started. Try not to slip along the way. Know how to pick your self up, more than likely there will be others there to assist in the journey. That’s who we are as believers.

Plastic Prophets

There is a difference between jars of clay from the potters hands than the containers of plastic from a mold. One is molded by hand, and the other is molded from a copy of a self mold.

— Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:15 – 20

Who are these false prophets? Who are these wolves in sheep’s clothing, who are these splinter pluckers, who are those white washed tombs and nat strainers that Jesus mentioned in other passages?

Are they all the greedy covetous Jezebels of trickery that slayed those to obtain what’s not rightfully theirs, they kill the voices we have that represents our God called prophets?

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:1

Let’s break the bread of Scripture:

False Prophets – One who removes or corrupts inspiration from God’s word or oracles by leading people astray.

False Teachers – One who withholds the truth from others, who twists it to promote their own persuasion of belief and even making their disciples fearful. Those who don’t practice what they teach.

A true teacher discloses truth to others. And exercise the same principles themselves. What has been tried and true for me will be tried and true for you.

Damnable Heresies – To destroy by choosing a sect or another opinion. Sects and Heresies is used interchangeable trough out the New Testament. There are different sects in Judaism. In Christianity do we know how many sects of opinions are out there? He’s coming back for one church and no a particular sect. Some do not fully understand what and who Christ’s Church fully encompasses. Read: the two olive branches, the two candle sticks and the two keepers of the testaments post.

Denying the Lord – Contradict the message He taught us. To cause others to renounce the Lord. To not keep His sayings. Scattering the flock.

What did Jesus teach. This study came from the red letter addition. And not man’s green letter additions.

How can you say, “We are wise!

We have the law of the LORD”?

The truth is, those who teach it have used their writings

to make it say what it does not really mean.

Jeremiah 8:8

&

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1 John 4:1

We are not to believe every so-called inspired word that come from the breath of messengers or prophets. We are to test them, not just if the word comes through for us but test the fruit of character of the messenger and the tried word of God found in scriptures. If they are God’s appointed or self appointed. There is a way to tell. Be patient. They’ll ensnare themselves to destruction.

Do we stone prophets that miss the mark. Maybe under the law but not under grace. By the way, the only prophets that were stoned or killed in the Old Testament was the prophets of Baal.

Just because a oracle doesn’t come to pass the way some thought it should, or even the messenger thought it should, doesn’t make it false.

We should take the stones meant for others short comings and make rock zen gardens out of them. Oh, did I make a heresy?

Knowing the motives of the heart

When I lived in Portland Oregon, I remember the ballet measure 8 fiasco in the late 80s. I remember a day that stopped the city. This was when a so-called prophet proclaimed that there was going to be an earthquake that was going to send the West Hills into the Willamette River.

The motive of the prophetic word? Because of homosexuality and gay rights.

Did it happen, no. Did the Spirit of the Lord say this to any one else? NO! Just to the self appointed agenda. Did any one stone him. This person was know by many prophets and ministers in the area. Did they go out and have him stoned. NO! They did minister correction to the individual in question.

Who were the facades Jesus was talking about?

Who else were present in the crowd listening to Jesus?

Then who were Jesus being passive aggressive towards?

Could it have been the prior, multiple times, for mentioned hypocrites in the crowd!

Who are the false prophets, who are the false Christ’s, who are the false believers. Are they all one in the same? Who was Jesus addressing indirectly during the sermon on the mount? When it comes to Jesus’s saints, It’s the hypocrites that come in His name.

The false prophets or messengers coming in his name, the false christs or even better put, false christians. Jesus was not only talking about the different sects of Jews He was pointing out in the crowd, He’s also talking about the different sects of Christians following His up to and following resurrection.

However, if any one uses these passages to pluck the splinter out of the eye of a false prophet or a false teacher, this may also references you as well.

Deal with your own personal prophetic baggage first.

The Beatitudes of the Kingdom of God

Stop beating our drums of self importance and remove that wolf pelt of showmanship. Under every wolf there is a lamb inside dying to come out.

Start by praying and fasting in the beatitudes; in the spirit of gratitude and selflessness.

If we’re re weak in prayer then pray the Lords prayer, if we’re weak in worship then sing and pray in the Holy Spirit, no one including the worshiper has to understand but God. If someone complains then tell them they are not being prayed to or being worshiped.

If we give, don’t harbor unforgiveness in our hearts. Take care of it.

Against such things there are no laws.

Show God some gratitude by showing it to others.

If your going to shoot the messanger, make sure the Lord didn’t send them.

In the conclusions of the Master Carpenter:

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Matthew 7:24 – 29

There is no way I can make this more clear than the Master Craftsman.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

Church! Did Inspiration fly out the window?

I don’t care about how real the performance looks, I care about how real the performers are.

Two State Solution?

Who were the Philistines in the Old Testament?

It was a term used by the Israelites for illegal immigrants in their inheritant Land. Those who didn’t belong in the Land!

Palestinians only wants a one state solution;

Theirs!

A two state solution is a lie that masquerades as a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

A similar event took place in Nehemiah’s day, Whence Judea’s returned to their homeland after the Babyonian exile. The Squaters didn’t want to leave. They had to build with a sword in one hand and a spackle in another.

It may look like satan is in control, however;

God is in the works. He is in control.

Never Again! Never Again! Never Again! Never Again! Never Again! Never Again! Never Again!
Shall the Gentile nations have their way over Israel’s 🇮🇱 inheritance, Again! Ephraim! Come to their aid!

Thank you Pastor Joe.

In the Beginning there was Love

1 John 4:16 – We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

1. In the beginning Love created — the heaven and — the earth.
2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Love moved upon the face of the waters.
3. And Love said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4. And Love saw — the light, that it was good: and Love divided the light from the darkness.

This was a message I heard this morning.
